Education
The American Academy of Environmental Medicine is committed to providing physicians with the tools to recognize, evaluate, treat and prevent those aspects of illness caused or contributed to by the role of the environment and diet. The AAEM's educational content span a broad spectrum of subjects encompassing the research, knowledge, skills, experience and expertise of the participants based on the assessment of identified educational needs. Although the primary focus of our educational activities is the practicing physician, we welcome medical students, residents, and other health care professionals interested in learning the insights and modalities derived from appreciating the role of the environment and diet in health and illness.
The American Academy of Environmental Medicine is accredited by the Accredition Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
